MBA (HOM)

Degree Information

The MBA (HOM) curriculum offers students the opportunity to gain a strong general business management education with both functional and analytical skill training in the areas of accounting, economics, finance, quantitative analysis, and resource and organizational management. The MBA (HOM) Program also offers students the concurrent opportunity to learn a systematic understanding of health care organization and their missions from multiple perspectives.

Graduates from the MBA (HOM) program receive a Certificate of Professional Study in Health Organization Management in addition to their MBA degree.

This curriculum is offered as a lock-step program. The HOM-specific courses begin each Spring, candidates enrolling in the Summer and Fall sessions may take MBA courses before they begin the HOM Program. Candidates enrolling in the Spring must begin the HOM Program courses that semester along with the MBA requirements.
