James J. Hoffman, Ph.D.Dean, MBA Programs and Executive Education, Rawls College of BusinessDirector, Health Organization Management ProgramRawls Professor in Healthcare ManagementJames "Jim" Hoffman is a full professor and director of the Health Organization Management Program in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Dr. Hoffman is also Associate Dean for MBA Programs and Executive Education at the Rawls College of Business. Additionally, Dr. Hoffman is one of the founding co-editors of the Journal of Business Valuation and Economic Loss Analysis. He holds a Ph.D. from the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Dr. Hoffman's research interests are in the areas of the management of health care organizations, business valuation, operations management, and business strategy. He has published in top academic journals such as Health Services Research, Health Care Management Review, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Organization Studies. Dr. Hoffman has also won numerous teaching awards.
