Field Experience Information

The HOM Field Experience is a formal period of education and experience during which students will be expected to test the organizational theory, business concepts, and health care knowledge gained during their formal course work. The objectives of the field experience are achieved by providing each student with personal coaching and guidance by a preceptor, a qualified, practicing health services administrator, and by providing an environment in which the student begins to develop the ability and confidence necessary to assume significant administrative responsibility.
